Important message regarding the outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).We hope you and your family are doing well in the midst of the current Covid-19 pandemic. In keeping with federal government’s recommendations on social distancing and as a measure to ensure the safety of our patients, their parents, and our staff; we are offering families the option to have upcoming appointments via Telehealth (video conference). The use of Telehealth would eliminate the need for you to travel to our consulting rooms which might be safer for you and your baby. Telehealth consultations usually last about 20 minutes; there will be a fee which unfortunately cannot be claimed through Medicare. We are using a user friendly, specialised Telehealth platform called doxy.me; you don’t need any special software or App and can connect from your phone or computer by opening a web link that will be sent to you. Telehealth by its nature has certain limitations and if you prefer, you are very welcome to keep your appointment at our consulting rooms. However, if you meet any of the following criteria please get in touch so we can reschedule your appointment.
Please let us know if you would like to utilise the telehealth option otherwise, please confirm if you would still like to come to our consulting rooms as planned. You will be sent a pre-appointment questionnaire and further instructions if you choose to have a telehealth appointment. We look forward to seeing you in person or via Telehealth. Please get in touch if you have any queries. For further information please visit the Department of Health and Human Services Victoria and the Australian Government Department of Health resource page. If you have already arranged a Telehealth consult click the link below at your pre-arranged time to enter the waiting room for your consult
